Skyroot Log is a type of block found in trees in the Aether, primarily used to create Skyroot Planks. It has a variant named Golden Oak Log.
Obtaining[]
Skyroot Log can be broken by hand and will drop itself even so, but using an axe will speed up the process. Golden Oak Logs can only be obtained with a Silk Touch enchanted Axe, otherwise, they will only drop Golden Amber and Skyroot Logs.

Natural generation[]
Skyroot Log and Golden Oak Log blocks generate naturally as part of Skyroot and Golden Oak trees, respectively. Either can also be grown using saplings. Purple Crystal Trees generate with Skyroot Log Walls as their trunks instead of normal Skyroot Logs.
In 1.10[upcoming], an additional source of wood is now a tall 2x2 pine variant that spawns in Jungle sub-climates and different variants of trees now spawn based on the climate. Crystal trees are now gone, however, along with all of their associated drops.
